The lovely 3-star Palmera Beach Hotel is situated directly on the beach promenade in Hersonissos. Heraklion, the capital, is approx. 24 km away. The lively centre of Hersonissos is approx. 150 m away, with many shopping opportunities and restaurants in the direct area. The sand and shingle beach, on a small bay, is only separated from the hotel by a stairway. The hotel boasts a reception, lobby, restaurant, snack bar, bar, Internet access point (for a fee), game rooms, billiards (for a fee), and a pool with separate children’s pool. Loungers are available at the pool for no extra fee; however, there is a fee for loungers on the beach. Additionally, the hotel has a beach tavern with a panorama view of the sea.
