Along the Atlantic Ocean on the western end of the Iberian Peninsula lies Portugal, one of the oldest cultural centres in Europe. Algarve
Algarve is situated in southern Portugal and is the most beloved holiday region in the land. With more than 3,000 hours of sun per year, it is one of the sunniest regions on Earth. Algarve is know for its long, fine sand beaches, mild climate and the fascinating rock formations located in the western part of the coast. One extraordinary site is “Argave’s Crag”, separating Faro and Cabo de Sao Vicente with many small coves. In contrast stands the “Sandalgarve” with long sandy beaches and dunes. Aside from that, Algarve offer the traditional fishing villages with the traditional Algarve architecture, as well as a great tourist area which offers a diverse selection of how to spend one’s time.
