Balearic Islands
Embedded in the deep blue Mediterranean lie the incomparably beautiful Balearic Islands of Majorca, Menorca, Ibiza, and Formentera. Everyone can find the perfect holiday on Majorca, the largest island. Scenic coasts and beaches, or green forested mountains with ancient mountain villages, invite you to linger. Definitely worthwhile is a visit to the capital, Palma, with its numerous cultural treasures, shopping and leisure opportunities. Additionally, the island, with its many party and entertainment centres, is a favoured holiday destination for young people.
Canary Islands
The Canaries are a year-round holiday paradise, that entices guests even in winter with its mild temperatures. The seven main islands lie far from the Spanish mainland, before the west African coast in the Atlantic, and are also called the "islands of eternal spring" due to the continuous pleasant temperatures between 20-28 °C. The originally volcanic island chain impresses guests not only with its excellent climatic conditions, but also with its very diverse vegetation and gorgeous beaches. Gran Canaria qualifies as a "mini continent", due to its varied and breathtaking landscapes. The sun spoilt island Fuerteventura is also known for its unique volcanic landscape, in addition to its endless beaches.
